Never mind the fuzzy picture, I am not quite sure what happened. All I know is that I have a…

A celebration of my mother calls for a long dress. I have been excited to see just how this dress would fit without my gigantic belly and I am definitely digging it even more. A great summer staple from now on.

This picture was taken at 37 weeks and 3 days, a day before the babies arrived. Already now looking back at it, it is almost like a dream how huge I was. Not only do we have two happy, healthy babies, but I can also breathe, lay on my back, wear sandals, and don’t grunt with every tortorous step.
Oh and that blazer is probably one of my new favorite things, after all it is a blazer with stripes and oh so comfortable.
Had to share life a year ago, my, how much can change
a little mad men inspired - this dress is now a shirt with my big belly
I lived in my skinny jeans, wonder if they will ever fit again
this dress is in my hospital bag for going home (and yes it is also a top at the moment)
I still love my button downs
the happiest little girl is so much taller
forgot I even owned this shirt
Her hair is now almost to her butt
and there will always be stripes
Not much new to show fashion wise, this is my old favorite non-maternity Ann Taylor Loft Dress, but I did want to share that this is what 14 pounds of baby looks like. 37 weeks tomorrow and the babies arrive on Monday…then I will be back to wearing fashionable clothes, well maybe anyway
[Dress Old Navy]
I was the model bed rest patien on this day just lounging all day and still the babies thought I needed a trip to the hospital. Luckily we only had to be there for a couple of hours before being released.
What is it with summer lounging and wanting to wear a long flowy dress? This dress from Old Navy of all places is not maternity and I cannot wait to see how long it actually is on me when I don’t have a gigantic belly in the way. Either way, my husband thought I glowed and that to me is present enough. Now I wonder when those babies will get here.

I am big proponent of belts but had not thought to sling it below my gigantic belly so I did and I loved it.
I look happy here because I am, I am awful at smiling in pictures, but this day was all about tacos, hanging pictures, kisses from B & T and just relaxing. I didn’t care who stared at the belly, we got things done and life cooperated. Those babies just need to stay put a little while longer.
Today I couldn’t resist this maxi dress from Old Navy of all places. They even had in a tall version and I am anxious to try the fit of it. While it may not work so well with my gigantic belly now, I am pretty sure if it looks like I envision that it will become a staple piece.
